M2 is a cationic waterborne polyurethane with active group. The cation of the molecule can be combined with the dye anion. Because there are a lot of O, H and reactive groups on the molecular chain, O, H can form hydrogen bonds with cotton fibers or dyes, and the reactive groups can react with the hydroxyl groups on cellulose at high temperatures, thus playing the role of firmly "fixing" the dyes on the fibers.
This product uses a special end capping technology. During the drying process, isocyanate is released to form a covalent bond with the hydroxyl group in cellulose molecules, and it also has electrostatic bonding with cellulose molecules. In the humid environment, the electrostatic effect is weakened. Compared with the traditional fixing agent that only rely on electrostatic binding, this product can be firmly adhered on the fiber surface by covalent action, serving as the "bridge" between dyes and fibers, so that the improvement effect is more stable and lasting.
The continuous network film formed between polyurethane and fiber and dye is soft and smooth, which does not affect the softness and hand feel of the fabric, and improves the surface abrasion resistance.The molecular weight of waterborne polyurethane color fixing agent is large. It will bond and seal the dye via resin film, completely cover the water-soluble groups of the dye, increase the smoothness of the fabric surface, and reduce the friction coefficient.
The network film between polyurethane and dye and fiber has better air permeability and comfort than traditional linear film.
Fixation will not cause color change to finished fabrics; No peculiar smell on the fabric surface after fixing and drying.
